Consumatron

Maybe it’s just the bananas talkin’, but it’s really hard to get Consumatron’s slogan to roll off a monkey’s tongue: WHY WE BUY WHAT WE BUY EVERYTHING WE BUY, REVIEWED

We think this means that he buys stuff and tells us why he bought what he bought. What do you think?

Consumatron also has a video blog where Mr. Consumatron himself gives his takes on random stuff. Or as he puts it: Consuming A Minute Of Your Time With Whatever’s On My Mind.

Ugly Fat Lady

Ugly Fat Lady is a video blog tracking the weight loss successes of one Ugly Fat Lady. Hey, don’t shoot the messenger for calling her ugly and fat. She’s “a chick on a diet,” okay? Maybe you could learn something from her rather than stare at bananas all day?

Running Commentary

Seriously, as if blogging and/or running isn’t hard enough. Along comes Running Commentary where a Minneapolis video blogger does video while running. It’s hard to explain just how difficult this is, but the video will make sense of it pretty darn fast.

Based on the frigid temperatures in Minneapolis lately, I sure hope Mr. Running Commentary hasn’t frozen the banana in his pocket.

Search Engine Watch

If you asked a monkey, “What you to think Search Engine Watch is all about?” they’d probably say nothing. The thing is, monkey’s don’t talk. But if the monkey new sign language, they’d sign, “Watch Search Engines?” and they’d be right.

Search Engine Watch is the place to go for reporting on every move search engines make. And beyond reporting, the forums on SEW are where the latest news and tidbits are hashed out by thousands of search geeks.

This raises the question, “What the heck is PZ Meyers doing up at the University of Minnesota, Morris, if not testing whether ocean dwelling creatures like tropical fruits?”

When avoiding important issues like the one above, PZ Meyers spends time covering the science, reality, the dangers caused by belief trumping science, and pharyngulas, of course.
