Formerly The Overtone, Speedplay formed in October 2004 in South Bend, Indiana. Band members:

Brett Adams (Vocals) Jamal Afridi (Bass) Dan Bradley (Guitar) James Miller (Drums) Jake Watson (Guitar)

They have released two CD’s to date:

The Waxwing EP, which was released in June 2005 and self-titled Speedplay in September 2006. The CD includes 7 tracks including fan favorites such as Hey!, New Reality, Streetlights, and Make It Glow.

Speedplay incorporates a wide variety of musical genres ranging from hard and classic rock to funk to pop, into a refreshingly original sound that has been coined “laundry room rock.” For more information about the band, or to book them for a venue or party near you, send a message through their Myspace Page or e-mail badams2@nd.edu
